XTRA Series(10~40A) MPPT Charge Controller
With optional display units(XDB1/XDS1XDS2) and isolated RS485 communication port.
XTRA(10A~40A) series is advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) charge controller for off-grid photovoltaic systems, with optional display units (XDB1/XDS1/XDS2). It is designed according to the international standard with higher quality, reliability, and safety. The limitation function of the charging power, charging current, and automatic power reduction function fully ensure stability when working with oversize PV modules(max.1.5 times of rated power) and operating under a high-temperature environment.

Yes, the XTRA series charge controller (softwareSV200 or above version ) supports choosing lithium battery via LCD. But WiFi/Bluetooth module or PC is required if the user wants to customize the voltage setpoints.

Not recommended. the battery voltage that every controller detected has a minor difference. When the battery is nearly full, it is possible that some controllers are charging, and others not, or some are charging with a big current and others are charging with a small current.

Finding it a nightmare to try an adapt for my lithium battery
mason@epever.com –
Hi Jimmy, Could you please describe more details about the problem?

Excellent product. Selling with different brands in EU area.

EPEVER products are excellent according to my backgroud research! I recently purchased a controller, XTRA4415N and it works very well. From my observations, I could say that the charge controller is intelligent since it correctly indentifies the electricity demand and supply. Currently I am having a 12V lead-acid battery system but in the future, I hope to upgrade the system to a 24V system with a LiFePO4 battery.

HI, can i charge 24V bat.system with 12V panels with XTRA series MPPT-s
mason@epever.com –
Hi Sir, you can’t charge it. The PV’s charging voltage must be large than the battery’s.

Hello sir, the yellow light on/off indicates the load on/off. You can check the indicator meanings of the XDS2 screen on page 17 in the manual.

Hello. My XTRA3210 very often stays in PWM mode even when panels are perfectly lit by direct sun. I have to disconnect array and connect back, then it will enter MPPT mode normally. I am thus not harvesting full power when expected. My panels are 2S(75Voc), but in PWM their voltage is held 2V above battery voltage(8A charge current). After reconnecting PV array, I am getting 25A into battery. MPPT detection is somehow weird..
chenyaohua@epever.com –
Hello sir,
Firstly, we recommend you change the solar panels to a parallel connection and see if the issue persists. Secondly, we would like to know if you are using lithium batteries. Inappropriate parameter settings for lithium batteries can also lead to this issue. Please send the parameter table of your batteries to support@epever.com, and our technical support team will assist you in resolving it. Lastly, the charging current is also dependent on the battery’s state. If the controller enters float or boost charging, the charging current will gradually decrease and may not remain in MPPT charging mode continuously.

Hello,
i have buy a XTRA 1210N XDS2 for my Van being mounted behind I would like to have a display where to see the data, is it possible to use MT11 remote display to see battery panel data etc? or only works with the Duoracer.
Thanks Guys
chenyaohua@epever.com –
Hello sir, MT11 only supports Duoracer. For XTRA series charge controller, we recommend MT50 meter.
Franck –
Hello everyone,
I do not see in the user manual the possibility to set the battery charge current (A), even in the user mode. Concretely, could with an mppt of the XTRA series, probably the 3210 or higher, limit the charging current of my lead batteries to 10 A? What about the tracer series?
Thank you very much and happy new year!
